Te Awamutu 110 kV Line
Align was appointed by Waipa Networks in 2011 to budget, programme, project manage and execute the route and site selection, property acquisition and consenting to construct a 35 km 110 kV high voltage electricity transmission line between the Te Awamutu and Hangatiki substations. The project was completed on time, within budget and without controversy thanks to Align’s meticulously planned, Agile, multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach and execution.
Bay Link ('B2B') Road Design
Align is delivering the landscaping and urban design components of the Urban Design and Landscape Masterplan for the B2B Link Upgrade of SH2/29A Te Maunga Intersection to the SH2 Maunganui Road/ Girven Road intersection. The upgrade will provide improvements to the intersections and complete the eastern corridor for the Bay of Plenty.
Ara Campus Design
Align completed the master-planning to produce the ‘Campus Development Plan’ for the Ara Christchurch City Campus, covering some 70,000 m2 in Central Christchurch. The Campus Development Plan concepts were progressed through the developed and detailed design stages to construction. As part of these processes, Align designed and created spaces for sculptural pieces, a memorial, a basketball court, relaxation, contemplation and recreation, along with expansive grassed areas and a wide range of seating.
