Gerry is a highly experienced commercial leader with proven capability within the property and electricity infrastructure sectors alongside key public and government organisations. He is strategically focused and results-driven with a strong track record of lifting and improving services, and has a proven track record of problem resolution and getting to the heart of issues.

Gerry started his property career in 1983 with the former Ministry of Works. His previous employers include Fletcher Challenge, Kiwi Income Property Trust, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Wellington Electricity (where he worked for 12 years). He has excellent relationship management skills, sound judgement and risk awareness.

Gerry’s current clients include Government transport entities, council-owned entities, electricity companies and private property developers. They value Gerry’s good nature and his in-depth knowledge of commercial contracts, public works, electricity legislation and negotiating practical win/win outcomes.

Gerry holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and has worked in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Middle East.

Gerry is active in the community. He was on the Wellington High School Board of Trustees from 2012 to 2015, which he chaired for two years, and the Saint Catherine’s College Board of Trustees from 2015 to 2018.
