Jo Michalakis

Jo has over 17 years of resource management experience including within the public sectors at Auckland Council and Gisborne District Council and in private practice. Her planning work experience includes residential, commercial, infrastructure, natural environment, heritage and community projects throughout the North Island of New Zealand. Jo has extensive experience in land development, infrastructure, wastewater planning and heritage matters.

Jo provides advice on policy development and preparation of assessments of environmental effects, representing clients in these fields. She also processes district and regional resource consents.

Jo’s clients include Councils and power companies, as well as a number of smaller private individuals and firms. They value her in-depth knowledge of RMA and related legislation, pragmatic approach and attention to detail.
