Laurence Sherriff

Laurence combines creativity and analysis to enable systems thinking and constantly challenge the status quo. In 2001, he founded Align and has expanded it from two to 60 employees. Before starting Align, he spent 20 years working in the agriculture, banking, and energy sectors.

Laurence holds a Master’s in Resource and Environmental Planning, a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Engineering, and a Bachelor of Commerce. After completing his Master’s, he began a PhD; however, he quickly dropped it as Align rapidly grew.

His expertise includes planning for large-scale infrastructure projects, in particular site and route selection for green field network utility assets.

Laurence was an enthusiastic boxer, but recently hung up his gloves. He was involved for three years and participated in three fight camps and two corporate fights.
