Mel Wilson

Mel is goal-focused and aims to achieve positive outcomes for her clients. She is a highly experienced and skilled operator.

Mel has over 25 years of experience in various property fields, including valuation; property management; property strategy; project management; land acquisition and disposal; site selection; LGA (2002) and the PWA (1981). She has acquired land and interests for local authorities and Crown agencies, including the NZ Transport Agency – Waka Kotahi; Oranga Tamariki; Kainga Ora; the Office of Treaty Settlements – Te Arawhiti; Hastings District Council; Ministry of Education; Hawke’s Bay District Health Board; and the Gisborne District Council. Mel has worked for several reputable property and valuation firms, including Opus (now WSP), TPG, Knight Frank & Turley and Valuation Plus.

Mel holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Valuation & Property Management) from Massey University. She is a Registered Public Valuer, an Accredited Crown Property Agent and a Member of the Property Institute of New Zealand.

Mel built and ran two businesses over the last ten years while focusing on her family.
