Sarah-Marie Davies
Property Consultant
Sarah-Marie is a multi-talented individual with a background in property, law, te ao Māori, Tikanga Māori, and communications.
Sarah-Marie has worked in the property, Government, banking and legal sectors. Before joining Align, she was a Private Property Portfolio Manager, Law Clerk, Resolution Advisor (Banking Ombudsman Scheme) and Customer Experience/ Behavioural Change Advisor (WorkSafe NZ). In her property role, she worked with the Public Works Act, property agreements, stakeholder engagement, valuations, and infrastructure. In her other roles, she worked in/ with the Courts, banking environment, Government and professional bodies utilising her skills in te ao Māori, Tikanga Māori, dispute resolution and strategic communications.
Sarah-Marie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Victoria University, 2019) and was admitted as Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand on 20 March 2020.
Sarah-Marie has a passion for health and fitness. In her spare time, she trains CrossFit, runs group fitness classes, and provides online fitness programs. While at Victoria University, she was heavily involved in Ngāi Tauira, Māori Student’s Association, where she acquired the role of āpiha mātauranga, academic officer.
