Stu brings a unique blend of Architectural and Geospatial expertise, holding a Master of Education from the University of Auckland, and a Diploma in Architecture and BA (Hons) in Architecture from the University of Brighton.
Stu began his career in Architecture and 3D visualisation before discovering a passion for Geospatial analysis. He carried over his design approach and project direction into the creation of large 3D master planning concepts and geospatial dashboards and web mapping of property and planning projects.
Stu began his Geospatial career in 2010 with Auckland Council, working and collaborating with city and parks planners, urban designers, and property and data analysts. Stu continues to combine customer-centric needs with the data available to deliver Geospatial data-driven projects, and over the years has delivered data-driven projects for prominent clients, including NZTA and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Stu has also shared his expertise as a lecturer in Spatial Design at Auckland University of Technology
In his spare time, Stu enjoys walking, swimming, and cycling which is often shared with his energetic Labrador.
