Accounts Administrator
Tamra Smith is a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Administrator with over 20 years’ of comprehensive experience in full-cycle accounts management. Her expertise spans accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, large-scale reconciliations, cash flow management, audits, collections, payroll, and both month-end and year-end reporting. She also has experience in board reporting and project-based financial work.
Much of Tamra’s accounts career was spent at Transpower, where she played a key role in the full cycle accounts management for the Projects and Assets team within their property division. Her work supported the acquisition, easements, and disposal of land for the national grid upgrade
Tamra is known for her self-motivation, keen eye for detail and numbers, precision, and analytical mindset. She thrives on tackling new challenges that will push her and allow her to think outside of the box and come up with innovative solutions.
In her spare time, Tamra has a green thumb and a love for indoor plants, she currently has over 70, and an ever-increasing list of additions she would like to add to her collection.
