ARA Campus Master Plan and Landscape Design

Ara Institute of Canterbury required a master plan for the redevelopment of its campus in central Christchurch.  The driver of the project was to respond to the needs of a modern campus and be cohesive throughout the site.  The site was designed to reflect the shift towards more flexible learning, blended learning options and integrated online delivery.

Align created a range of spaces for relaxation, contemplation and recreation, with expansive grassed areas, a wide range of seating options, a basketball court and integration of sculptural pieces within the landscape.
