Te Matauru Primary School – Landscape Design
About this project
Te Matauru Primary School was a new school build on a greenfield site.
The landscape design creates a cluster of spaces, including a sports court, senior and junior playgrounds, passive lawn areas and mounding concentrated predominantly within a central hub.
The planting palette and layout translated the school narrative into the space, creating colourful and textural spaces that change with the seasons and create a variety of spaces and experiences.
