Property Co-ordinator - Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau

We are looking for an enthusiastic property professional to join our fun and lively Auckland team, hitting the ground running in a 12-month fixed term position covering parental leave. If you have Administration and/or Project Coordinator experience and are an administration powerhouse, then this role is for you.

Align delivers infrastructure and development projects that bring places and communities to life. We are a growing and respected consultancy providing crown-accredited property advisory, land acquisition, disposal, legalisation, planning services and landscape architecture, services. We help central and local government agencies, utility providers and private clients across the country from our offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Hawke’s Bay, New Plymouth, Wellington, and Christchurch. Sectors we operate in include, roading, rail, housing, gas, electricity, three waters, education, recreation and more.

Based out of our Auckland office, you will work alongside our property team supporting them on a range of significant infrastructure projects throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up of projects in internal and external systems
  • Budget and programme management utilising MS Project and other tools
  • Assisting with property due diligence, investigations and strategies
  • Maintaining property databases with up-to-date information
  • Assist Senior Consultants with the acquisition, disposal & legalisation of land.
  • Preparing client and Land Information NZ (LINZ) reports
  • Assisting with and coordinating property settlements
  • Attending to owner, advisor and third-party cost claims
  • Monthly financial and operational reporting

Skills, Experience and Attributes Required for This Role

The role will be suited to someone with a background and interest in property, land or legal-related administration. You will ideally have:

  • Experience in Administration and/or Project coordination is essential
  • Property experience would be beneficial in this role
  • Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to go the extra mile to ensure the highest of standards are delivered for all jobs
  • Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to take complex data and information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in the use of SAP would be hugely beneficial
